Desc: Watchtower: Directed by Amir Gougol. Amir is an orthopedic resident in a community hospital. He is very tired and engages in Patient Turfing (illegally rejecting patients and diverting them to other centres). At the same time, a medical ethics conference is held in this very hospital. Amir travels to northern Iran on vacation and is caught in a head-on collision. Afterward, he himself becomes a victim of Patient Turfing and is shuttled between hospitals like a ping-pong ball. Finally, he is admitted to a private hospital under the care of a newly graduated, inept physician.
